In the opinion of many scientists and philosophers the Universe consists of an infinite quantity of worlds, each of which is enclosed in another, similar to Russian "nested dolls". Each world the same as our world, there are fields and cities, people and animals, the sun and stars. Some people believe, plunging into the next "internal" world, we shall find a better world than in the covering "external" world.
Peering into the wasp nest, we see far below an idyllic picture: seacoast, trees and bushes, a family and a kite soaring above them. Perhaps, we have reached a limit of immersing, and this world is the most perfect of worlds – the world of the careless Golden Age!
The harmony and peace of this picture contrasts with the "external" world. The huge striped insect hangs threateningly above the nest as a symbol of the potential danger of an external world.
Probably, many will also recollect the remarkable film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, representing the isolated world of a mental hospital and the all-seeing and sharp-sighted eye of the senior nurse who has appropriated the right to punish and pardon people.
