BEEING A TIGER

Visualisation
The spirit of hunting penetrates throughout the painting. It is the theme well familiar from the paintings of different epoch. But this time it is an unusual hunting - hunting of the small bees for a mighty tiger. Despite of their incomparable sizes, it is obvious that the tiger and the bee resemble each other, due to their similar striped patterns. There is a deeper meaning of that similarity: The bees unified by the instinct, become an unstoppable force, capable of chasing a big predator. The symbolism of the painting is connected with the dramatic character of the human life – the constant struggle of the person’s will and purposefulness against a “plenty of tiresome cares”, surrounding him.
