This type of antelope is known by its grace. Its horns are reaching 45-90 cm with a shape that resembles the Lyra (a Greek musical instrument). Only males are the proud owners of them. In the Bible we can find multiple mentions that the Lyra was popular in ancient Egypt. The Lyra was one of the favorite instruments for the ancient Jewish people. King David enjoyed playing it.
A “lyrical moment” can be seen in the earlier bronze sculpture by Vladimir Kush titled “Flamenco Dancer” Bronze Sculpture. The Dancer is holding her arms in the air shaped as a Lyra.
