The fertility of the land and plants and the child-bearing capacity of women has been recognized and confirmed by the lunar cycle coinciding with the tides, as well as by its mystical connection with the monthly cycle of the female body.
The scientists attribute this relationship to the beginning of life in the depths of water and the influence of the Moon setting the rhythm of life for millions of years.
