When the horse is running full speed, there is a moment when his feet don’t touch the ground. This is the moment when it looks like he is flying in the air. We will never know the motivation or the goal, as in the known Russian poem “Foal”, by Marshak:
Little horse runs dashingly,
But where and why?
If the foal jumps, it means
That he is having fun!
